The first shots of the next-generation console wars have been fired. Sony set the video game world ablaze with its announcement of the PlayStation 4  yesterday in New York City.  Over one thousand members of the media were brought to the Hammerstein Ballroom for a glimpse at what Sony’s new console will be delivering when it is released this Holiday season.  The anticipation for next-gen details has been at a fever pitch recently. With Nintendo’s “next-gen” system, the Wii U, not reaching estimated sales levels in its first 3 months of release, the focus has switched to Sony and Microsoft to convince us why we need a new system.
